WELCOME TO AGADIR

Agadir, a city along Morocco’s southern Atlantic coast, in the foothills of the Anti-Atlas Mountains, is the capital of Agadir-Ida Ou Tanane province. A resort destination, it's known for its golf courses, wide crescent beach and seaside promenade lined with cafes, restaurants and bars.


From fez we will begin our ascent We pass through Ifrane, a winter ski resort in a totally Moroccan style built by the French in the 1930’s to resemble a Swiss village, we visit the cedars forest in azrou you will see the monkeys, drive across the Middle Atlas Mountains. Most of the day will be spent winding your way through the beautiful forests, springs, jagged rock faces, and Berber villages as you cross the Atlas Mountains and begin to descend towards the Sahara Desert.

Itinerary

The day start by picking you up from your hotel in Agadir or Agadir airport and then, we will drive towards Marrakech crossing Essaouira the blue city where we will have lunch break. We explore main attractions in Marrakesh and spend the night in local hotel.

From Marrakech and we drive towards Ouarzazate through the Tizi ‘n’ Tichka pass at 2260 m over the High Atlas Mountains. You will be amazed by the natural landscapes. then we pass through Berber villages.

You will have a chance to explore the process of producing the argan oil by Berber women in their cooperative . We will visit Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou a UNESCO historical site. We continue to Dades valley via Ouarzazate, or the Hollywood of Africa. We will pass along the Road thousand Kasbahs, towars the Dades Gorge where you’ll walk under the 300 m high red cliff. And then stay for the night in local guesthouse with dinner and breakfast.

After breakfast in the guesthouse, we’ll drive through the valley to see rock formation “the monkey toes”. Leaving the Tinghir towards Merzouga grand where you’ll see panoramic views of the old mud Berber villages overlooking the valley. Arriving to the Merzouga through Erfoud and Rissani. Merzouga is where the camels will be awaiting you. You will enjoy camel-ride heading into the mysterious sand-sea of the Erg-Chebbi, guided by an experienced camel guide of course. Here you will spend your first night under the stars, or if you prefer, in a traditional Berber nomad tent.

If you wake up early enough, you are going to see the sunrise in the heart of the desert, then you will peacefully camel-trek back to the village of Merzouga appreciating the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes – changing with the light as the day progresses. Arriving back in Merzouga and after breakfast and hot shower in the guesthouse, we’ll leave towards Zagora passing by the famous Draa valley, which is full of palm-trees and then stop for lunch in the way and continue to Zagora, where we will stay for the night.

In the last day of our tour, We will drive toward Tiout where you will have lunch. and experience the daily theater of commercial activities, and entertainment. Then we drive from Tiout to Agadir, where our grand tour comes to an end around 7 in the evening.
